We are happy to share with you a few in-school iTaLAM training program options for the teachers at your school, led by our experienced team of iTaLAM advisers. Please read the following proposal carefully, and contact us to coordinate a program that will meet your needs..
Training Objectives:
To provide the Hebrew and Judaic Studies staff with iTaLAM updates, innovations and selected topics relating to teaching Hebrew as a second language.
To implement best teaching practices. This training can be geared towards new teachers, special education teachers, teachers who have not partaken in an iTaLAM training over the past five years and teachers who want a new teaching perspective.
To introduce ways of bridging the learning gaps and differentiating instruction for the different levels and learning styles in the classroom.
A two-day visit to the school (with the possibility of extension to a full third day on Sunday). The proposed program includes: classroom observation, feedback on the observations, and four practical workshops for teachers in the iTaLAM program.
Workshop topics are suggested below and can be adapted based on the needs of the school.
What happens after the 2-3 day visit?
The school visit serves both as specific training and the starting point for a year-long teacher training process. Participating teachers will learn how to use Google Classroom, so they can continue learning through presentations and short instructional videos. The Hebrew and Judaic Studies coordinator at the school, with the guidance of the course coordinator from iTaLAM will direct the continued learning process.

Google Classroom (30 hours of offline training for each grade, recognized by the Israeli MOE for teachers who are shlichim or Israeli citizens) | $150 per teacher, or $800 per school with no restriction on the number of participants |

You can choose a 1.5 hour workshop (or several workshops) to be integrated into the teacher Professional Development days at the school.
The workshops will be delivered via Zoom or face-to-face (depending on the location of the school and the availability of instructors).
After the workshops, the teachers can send their filmed lessons from the classroom to the iTaLAM training team who will provide guidance and feedback.
Learning continues offline, through presentations and short videos, in our Google Classroom. The training throughout the year will be under the guidance of the Hebrew and Judaic studies coordinator at the school with the support of the course coordinator on behalf of iTaLAM.
