They also answer the question “Why do we do this?”: Because the Jews are happy, because all of the people of Israel are friends and because a great miracle had taken place for the Jews. In the iTaLAM program, students listen to songs, watch videos, read stories, study activities, and learn: what the Megillah says, what dilemmas the characters face, how many times do they hear the Megillah and when.
In the program, the children present the Book of Esther through puppet theater. Throughout the book, the characters speak in modern everyday Hebrew and then afterwards, the original text from the Megillah is presented as it is written. Thus, the students learn to understand the language of the Megillah and are able to deepen their understanding of its messages. The book is divided into eight parts, each section dealing with a different topic.
We wish you a happy Purim filled with meaning and harmony!
