TaL AM 1, 2 , 3, 4 & 5 Training Ins tutes in parallel tracks are o ered in di erent loca-  ons twice during the year:

The Part 1 or Summer Ins tute presents theory and methodology underlying the program, and introduces the units studied during the  rst half of the school year.

The Part 2 (mid-year or Winter) Ins tute is devoted to the units studied during the second half of the school year, while con nuing to expand on the pedagogical approach of TaL AM.

Following are the dates and loca ons for the Summer, 2016 Ins tutes.

Please note:

This  me around, in addi on to grades 1-5, we’ll be o ering also Torah & Parasha tracks in both Ins tutes.

New Jersey at the Wilshire Grand Hotel:

Sunday, June 19, 2016 12:00 noon – Thursday, June 23, 2016, 3:00 pm.

Jerusalem at Ramat Rachel Hotel

Monday, July 11, 2016, 10:00 am – Thursday, July 14, 2016, 3:00 pm.

These ins tutes enable par cipants to:

(*) Study the brain-based learning principles of TaL AM.

(*) Learn the methodology of Communica ve & Heritage Language and Literacy Develop- ment.

(*) Become acquainted with the content, concepts, skills and material of the program. (*) Observe TaL AM instruc on on videotaped lessons of classes studying with the pro- gram.

(*) Learn how to assess students’ achievements and use results for planned instruc on. (*) Observe alterna ve teaching approaches and ways of organizing the classroom.

(*) Fine-tune instruc onal skills to serve students’ varied learning styles and needs.

(*) Learn to prepare a classroom por olio and u lize it to communicate the achieve- ments of each student, the curriculum learned, and its linkage to the next grade.
